Northwest Geotech, Inc. (NGI) dba Northwest Testing, Inc. (NTI) was founded in 1983 to provide environmental consulting, geotechnical engineering, construction monitoring, special inspection, and materials testing services to public and private clients including municipalities, owners, contractors, developers, architects, and engineers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
NGI operates one of the most comprehensive soil mechanics and construction materials testing laboratories in the Western United States. Accredited to ISO/IEC standards by A2LA, NGI also holds validation from the US Army Corps of Engineers and laboratory certification from the Oregon Department of Transportation for the inspection and testing of various construction materials. Additionally, NGI is a registered Special Inspection Agency with the Oregon Building Officials Association and the Washington Association of Building Officials.
In 2022, NGI joined RMA Companies, a rapidly expanding national provider of technology-enabled testing, inspection, and certification services. This acquisition enhances innovation in new product development, ensures quality assurance for project delivery, and offers engineered solutions for asset management.
